Promises Kept
Promises Kept is the true story of Dr. Susie Myers and her life helping rescue dogs and cats in need. For 12 years she turned her home into a safe place for over 11,000 homeless, hurt, or mistreated pets. She made a promise to never put any of the animals down. Instead, she found them all forever homes with new families to love them. Or if that didn’t work out, she gave them a happy home with her.
She lives in Northeast Ohio and is a third generation artist. Her great aunt traveled to France in the late 1800s and painted with the great painters of the time. She has been painting since the early 1960s. In addition, Dr. Susie Myers ran a pet rescue operation and found homes for over 11,000 dogs and cats over 12 years.
